Hybrid Test Stand
This structure was the testing platform for the Mk III, Mk IV, and Mk IIb motors. The test stand was designed to support each motor for cold flow and hot fire (static) tests while remaining lightweight, portable, and versatile. The main features of the test stand are:
- A cement base with aluminum structure.
- Steel deflection plate.
- Hinged supports for simple and swift installation.
- Removable support structure for easy transport and storage.
- Mounting plate equipped with a load cell.
- Ladder access.
The Hybrid Test Stand was replaced by the Vertical Test Stand (VTS) when BURPG switched to liquid motors.
