Geared towards new members,

the Hybrid Intro Project (HIP) aims to acclimate participants into BURPG through the design and development of an engine nozzle and electric circuit during a semester. To integrate each interested member into the team, this project offers both technical experience and design presentation skills. Each group presents a Conceptual Design Review (CoDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR). HIP serves as a crash course for rocketry by allowing new members to create and fire a 10 lbf hybrid engine.
